Chucho Bruno is an Argentinian-born musician and producer based in Australia since 2020. Known for his versatility and creativity, he has dedicated his career to exploring the intersection of music and other artistic disciplines, with a focus on composition, performance, and interdisciplinary collaborations.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Chucho is skilled in guitar, drums, bass, and keys, seamlessly blending diverse musical genres through his improvisational approach. His work spans composing for film scores, directing music for multidisciplinary performances, and collaborating with visual artists to unify music with other mediums.
Chucho has contributed to numerous projects as a composer, producer, and conductor, often leading ensembles and creating original works that combine cultural influences with contemporary techniques. His innovative use of rhythm and live production attracts audiences from jazz, experimental rock, and electronica communities.
Since signing with Yama Nui Records, Chucho has focused on producing original music and collaborating with other artists under the label. He also leads a contemporary rhythm school, guiding over 35 students in the art of percussion and ensemble performance.
Chucho’s past includes co-directing The Shelter S.C, where he developed a strong foundation in producing and curating events. However, he has since shifted his focus entirely to his own creative projects, prioritizing his music, teaching, and interdisciplinary artistic development.
Through his passion for cultural exchange and innovation, Chucho Bruno continues to make a meaningful impact on the Australian arts scene, creating performances that resonate with diverse audiences and collaborating with artists from around the globe.
